Rapid response urgent and emergency services to immigrants experiencing a crisis 24 hours a day, seven days a week by training and mobilizing community navigators and rapid responders; community education, outreach, and engagement; emergency legal services (stays of removal, bond requests, requesting reasonable fear interviews before the asylum office to prevent immediate deportation, request all Santa Clara County residents who are not released be housed in detention facilities within the jurisdiction of San Francisco Immigration Court; deportation proceedings); screening for immigration relief and immigration legal services resource connection; family support and navigation; Countywide although headquartered in East San Jose.
Asian Law Alliance

Bay Area Legal Aid
Improve the immediate and long-term safety, stability, and economic self-sufficiency of low-income, immigrant survivors of domestic abuse, sexual assault, and human trafficking through in-house and pro-bono legal assistance/immigration relief; full-scope representation (documenting cooperation with law enforcement, preparing and submitting applications for U Visas, T Visas, VAWA petitions, status adjustments, work permits, or naturalization and may support applications for members of the client's family); Engage and coordinate pro-bono program to support with cases of this nature; Legal advice and counsel related to income stability, healthcare access, fair and affordable housing, and domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking; Legal Advice Line; representation; outreach and education; public charge education.
Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County
Screening for eligible immigration benefit; affirmative legal services (assist individuals in acquiring legal immigration status); removal defense (screen case in removal proceedings and assist client with possible remedies); referrals; outreach in hard to reach communities; Community education workshops focusing on citizenship, immigrant rights, public benefits and public charge, domestic violence, relations with law enforcement, new voter education, proposed immigration reforms, and immigration legislation; citizenship classes and application support; Provide lead coordination to increase participation in Citizenship Day among South County community members; Community education among immigrant LGBTQI community; engage foreign embassies and consulates; general know your rights workshops; South County unmet civil legal needs and immigration legal consultations.

Oasis Legal Services
Intake and screening for low-income and hard-to-reach LGBTQ+ immigrants; full scope trauma informed legal representation for LGBTQ+ immigrants in their affirmative asylum applications; Provision of resources, referrals, and case management; orientations for asylum seekers and new asylees regarding rights and responsibilities and new legal status or work authorization.
Pars Equality Center
